Ear Candling (Thermo-Auricular Therapy)
This is a relaxing treatment of the ears which can be traced back to the Ancient Egyptians, Chinese and Indians.
The candles I use are hollow and made from natural ingredients of cotton and coated with beeswax. The candle acts as a chimney and draws out any impurites in the ear to the surface and into the candle.
Following treatment, these impurities can continue to come to the surface for up to 48 hours - this is a normal process.
A light massage of the neck, face and ears is applied to help with the loosening of the impurities.
This treatment may help relieve conditions such as:-
* Ear infections
* Sinusitis
* Tinnitus
* Catarrh
* Headaches/migraines
Some conditions may be helped after only 1 treatment, however subsequent treatments may be required.
